Forced circulation evaporator

working principle

The forced circulation evaporator relies on the external force - circulation pump to circulate the liquid and improve the flow rate of the solution. The feed liquid is pumped from bottom to top by the circulating pump and flows upward along the pipe of the heating chamber. After entering the evaporation chamber, the mixture of steam and liquid foam is separated. The steam is discharged from the upper part, and the fluid is blocked and falls down. The mixture is sucked in by the circulating pump through the conical bottom, and then enters the heating pipe to continue the circulation.
      The heating chamber of forced circulation evaporator has horizontal and vertical structures, and the liquid circulation speed is regulated by the pump. According to the different positions of the circulating liquid inlet and outlet of the separation chamber, it can also be divided into positive circulation forced evaporator and reverse circulation forced evaporator. The one with the circulating liquid inlet above the outlet is called positive circulation, and the one with the circulating liquid inlet above the outlet is called reverse circulation. The forced circulation evaporator with reverse circulation has more advantages. The flow rate of liquid in the heating tube is usually 1.2-3.0m/s (selected according to the material composition), with high heat transfer efficiency and production capacity.


      Main features
● Large concentration ratio, forced circulation type, which makes the materials with high viscosity easy to flow and evaporate, and the concentration time is short;
● The evaporator uses a forced circulation pump to make the materials flow quickly in the heat exchange tube, which is resistant to salt out, scaling and has strong adaptability, especially suitable for evaporation of materials with high viscosity and easy crystallization;
● CIP cleaning pipeline is equipped inside the equipment to realize on-site cleaning.
● The disadvantage is that the circulating pump has large flow and relatively high power consumption. At the same time, due to the large pump flow, the device vibrates greatly and must be supported by the plant or steel structure, resulting in a corresponding increase in the investment in steel structure support.
